Letter from Head of School

Hi All,

Now comes summer! I am often asked about my philosophy on students and school work in the summer. I believe that our students get plenty of enrichment throughout summertime. They will travel, visit museums, be involved in discussions with adults that love and engage them, they will problem solve daily, and they all have access to books, puzzles, games, and building toys. I suggest getting them outside as much as possible to play, work on a construction project with them, encourage them to read books of their choosing, follow baseball stats, play music, or share a periodical together that speaks to something they are interested in, whether it’s Car and Driver or Hockey News, they all work. And finally, let them be bored.

I truly believe that there is nothing more precious than a child's summer; let it be theirs!

Sit close to your children and enjoy a great summer.

Thank you,

Bob
