Yes, this Admissions Blog Post is about a road race. No, I won’t be running in it. (Only because I don’t run on principle!) But here is why the Denver PRIDE 5K is important and what you need to know:

  1. First, it is June 24, 2023. Mark your calendar! 

  2. For the last five years, the International School of Denver has been the ONLY SCHOOL to sponsor the PRIDE 5K. So, I’m issuing a challenge to all my colleagues creeping on this post from other schools: Join us! The world needs more allies, especially in schools.

  3. ISDenver Dragons, join our race team. Our team gets bigger each year. Run, jog, walk, mosey, or roll and support an amazing cause to stand with the LGBTQ community. Funds raised support the amazing work the Center on Colfax is doing to provide programs and services to the LGBTQ community in Colorado. If you are setting a resolution for 2023 to participate in a road race, this is your chance! 

  4. Prospective families, this is who we are. We are proud to be allies as we create a more compassionate world one student and one step at a time.
