Children who are not picked up during their scheduled pick up time (either at regular school pick-up or from clubs or After-Care session 1 at 4:45), will be taken to After Care/After-Care II, and the parents will be billed $25 for every hour or partial hour the child remains in After Care. After 5:35 PM, parents arriving late are billed an additional late charge of $5 per minute.
Musical instrument lesson registrations are for the entire school year, not just one trimester.

Tennis (Mondays or Tuesdays): Tennis for tots! Learn the basics of tennis while also improving physical strength, flexibility, balance, and fine motor-skills!
Let's Play (Theater/Drama): In this fun introduction to the world of theater, students get the chance to explore their creative sides through fun and adventurous theater games. This active class will teach the basics of the theater world such as stage directions, memorization skills, and improve confidence in public speaking. Everyone gets up, plays, and participates!
Playdough Lab: Love the idea of playdough but not the mess in your home? Sign up your kids for this sensory and learning experience for our youngest students. Kids will learn using playdough in a fun way, with a different activity every week. Playdough is excellent for children's creativity, muscle strength, and fine motor skills.
Art Club: A chance for students to experiment with different types of art, to learn, grow and find their inner creativity!
Mini Gymnastics: This class will focus on beginner tumbling skills, such as balance, flexibility, rolls, backbends, handstands, and cartwheels. Gymnastics is great for enhancing physical development, and for creating healthy habit of physical fitness throughout a child's lifetime.
Select a Sport: Students run, jump, play, throw, catch, hit and have fun! An opportunity for students to practice and learn new motor skills through a variety of different sports and activities.
LEGO (Mon, Wed or Thurs): Playing with LEGOs helps kids develop their hand muscles as well as improving hand/eye coordination. Building things with LEGOs helps to stimulate creativity and opens your child’s imagination while improving focus.
Ballet (Wednesdays or Thursdays): Ballet is a unique synthesis of artistry and technique, of self expression and discipline. It's challenging, great fun, and is the basis for all dances. This class stresses age-appropriate skill development, creative expression, and music appreciation.
Yoga: Where we let the children have fun and learn practical skills, too! During our kids yoga classes, they will learn a quick history of yoga, practice fun yoga poses and flows, and play fun yoga games and activities. Class will also include breath work and mindfulness activities. Our kids yoga classes are designed to help strengthen, stretch, and relax the mind after a long day. Classes are fast-paced to help keep children on task. Our kids will discover the many wonderful benefits to yoga, including improvements in flexibility, strength, balance, immunity, energy and focus.
Soccer: Learn the basic skills of soccer in a fun and energetic environment!
Art Club (Mon and Wed): Do you love to make art? Then join the Art Club where you can spend time being an artist every week. Let your imagination soar while you explore your favorite ideas and art materials, develop art making skills as you learn new techniques, and create connections with others while being a part of an art community within our school.
Book and Cook Club: Calling all chefs and readers! Each week, we'll explore a new book then bring an aspect of the book to life through food. This club is meant to inspire the love of reading and nourish bellies after the school day. We will laugh and have so much fun!
Mad about Hula Hoops: Looking for a fun way to keep your kids active? Do they enjoy spectacular performances like Cirque Du Soleil or The Greatest Showman? Then Mad About Hoops is perfect for your child. Each week the kids will learn cool hoop tricks, hoop dance moves and partner moves! This class will improve balance and coordination while burning up to 400 calories per hour. Not only does hula hooping create healthy bodies, but it's a great way of building self confidence through creative movement! You'll be so impressed with your hooper stars at the end of the semester, you'll think they joined the circus!
Children's Lit & Crafts: This club will bring the children closer to literature through the reading aloud of international famous children authors books. We will dig into the book, the characters, the setting and the author's main idea by representing those aspects with crafts ( puppets, illustrations, building, acting).
Crochet: Kids will learn the basics of crocheting. Crocheting helps with hand/eye coordination while stimulating your child’s imagination, it’s a calming stress reliever, and a hand made article can help reinforce your child’s appreciation of creating something on their own.

Board Games: Take a blast into the past! Do you like taking a RISK? Build hotels and own all the train stations in MONOPOLY? Hit a +4 card in UNO? So this club is for you, but no worries nobody will be stuck in JUMANJI.
Crafts Club: The Craft club activities are a fun way to give the students a sense of achievement and allow them to be proud of their work. They are going to develop the ability to work with different materials every week, in a safe environment to discover that it’s okay to make mistakes and that getting things ‘wrong’ can lead you down a whole amazing path.

Photography: Learn how to take world class photos from an international music photographer! Students will learn beginner, intermediate, and even advanced techniques using the cameras they have. Ever wanted to use your phone to make your friends look like they're flying? I'll teach ya how!
Robotics and Coding: Students will learn to code and program while playing interactive games and completing challenges with robots. Coding fosters creative thinking, analytical skills, builds confidence, and establishes grit while having fun interacting and exploring with peers and technology.
Karaoke Club: Come sing your little heart out at the ISDenver Karaoke! All skill levels are welcome. Do your best Bowser voice while singing Peaches. Prance joyfully as you sing about raining tacos. Sing gleefully about corn, It's Corn! Sing alone or grab a friend and sing a duet. We can't wait to hear you and cheer you on at the ISDenver Karaoke.
Karate: Shotokan Karate is a weaponless martial art that is founded on the basic techniques of punching, striking, kicking and blocking, yet there is a deeper aspect to serious Karate training which deals with character development. Shotokan Karate is a way for an individual to realize greater potential and expand the limits of that individual's physical and mental capabilities. Shotokan Karate remains firmly rooted in a strong martial arts tradition, emphasizing lifetime training for a healthy mind and body, rather than strictly as a sport.
ISDenver and Lowry Time Travellers: Our students are always curious about our campus history. Now is time to unravel the mysteries that surround our buildings and answer our most asked question - "Do we have a jail downstairs?" In our club the kids are going to learn about the neighborhood history from experts of the Lowry Foundation, visit the Wings Museum, research old pictures from the air force base and time travel through every corner of our buildings. By the end, they will become truly guides for our community creating an amazing game with the timeline of the most curious facts.
Flamenco: Enjoy this fun and active Flamenco club and learn the very traditional dance of Flamenco! We will learn new dance moves, songs, customs and culture about Spain.
Speech and Debate Club: An introduction to debate and public speaking.
PALS Chess: Our lessons help students develop self-esteem, sportsmanship, critical thinking, concentration, logic, imagination, patience, and planning skills through chess. The word “PALS” is not just an acronym for “Play, Achieve, Learn, Succeed” – it also reflects our view of chess as a friendly game that transcends borders, gender and generations by reinforcing the four C’s of 21st century learning: Collaboration, Communication, Critical thinking, and Creativity, all of which are emphasized and brought together through the far-reaching benefits of a worthy “Fifth C,” Chess!

Volleyball Club: A developmental volleyball club for 3rd - 5th graders to prepare them for the MiddleSchool volleyball team.
Basketball Club: Learn the basic skills of basketball in a fun and energetic environment, and prepare for the Middle School basketball team.
Destination Imagination: Destination Imagination (DI) prepares Colorado’s kids to be the innovators of the future by combining the arts, sciences, and technology with creativity, teamwork, and problem solving. State-wide academic tournaments provide teams the opportunity to present their solutions to trained DI Appraisers. In working to solve DI Challenges, team members learn 21st century skills, such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, citizenship, and courage; they step outside of their comfort zones to pursue ideas and make presentations; and, they learn to build upon their individual strengths. School-aged children work in teams from 2 to 7 members to solve long-term Challenges and practice Instant Challenges.
Modern Band Ensemble: In Modern Band Ensemble, students will learn songs of their choosing with the teacher's guidance. Any genre and era is possible and all skill levels are permitted. Students will play by ear as well as read traditional notation. Whether you play guitar, accordion, piano, drums or anything else, please join! If you are a beginner and want to play music, you can join too! Depending on skill level, we will write music as well!

Drama Club: Drama Club is designed for students interested in learning more about the aspects of theater. This includes learning stage terminology, working on acting skills (performance), set building, and costumes/makeup design.
Art Studio: Art Studio is a creative space for students to explore using a variety of art materials while creating projects that may include drawing, painting, and mixed media lessons. This is a time and place for artists to come together to share and create together!
Debate Club: Middle School students will dig further into the structures of debate and how debate helps to provide the skills for active listening, thoughtful dialogue, and open-mindedness. Students will explore different debate structures and identify topics that interest them. Students will have a series of both informal and formal debates during this club. The final project will be a debate, the topic will be chosen by students, and will be formally debated with another school. Last year we also hosted our own tournament, and hope to do so again this year!

Guitar Ensemble (G3-G8) is designed for beginners. The curriculum is designed to develop every phase of fundamental musicianship for guitar. In this club, we will explore the basics of guitar while nurturing the joy of music making in a fun and creative way. Max capacity for this group is 5 to keep numbers low.
Before-Care, After-Care, Study Hall and Third Language
Before- and After-Care sessions are billed at $135 per session of the weekday chosen for that entire trimester (i.e., if you register your child for after-care session I on Mondays only, you will pay $135 total for that trimester; if you do it on both Mondays and Wednesdays, you will pay $270 total for the first trimester. If you do before-care and after-care I every weekday, you will pay $1,350 per trimester.)
In Grades 3, 4 and 5, learners can expand their language study in an after-school program, with the option to continue that language of instruction in the Middle Years Programme (Grades 6, 7, and 8).
