Let's Play (Theater/Drama): In this fun introduction to the world of theater, students get the chance to explore their creative sides through fun and adventurous theater games. This active class will teach the basics of the theater world such as stage directions, memorization skills, and improve confidence in public speaking. Everyone gets up, plays, and participates!
Tennis (Monday or Thursday): Tennis for tots! Learn the basics of tennis while also improving physical strength, flexibility, balance, and fine motor-skills!
Playdough with Mar Castro
Playdough Lab: Love the idea of playdough but not the mess in your home? Sign up your kids for this sensory and learning experience for our youngest students. Kids will learn using playdough in a fun way, with a different activity every week. Playdough is excellent for children's creativity, muscle strength, and fine motor skills.
Mini Gymnastics: This class will focus on beginner tumbling skills, such as balance, flexibility, rolls, backbends, handstands, and cartwheels. Gymnastics is great for enhancing physical development, and for creating healthy habit of physical fitness throughout a child's lifetime.
Art Club: A chance for students to experiment with different types of art, to learn, grow and find their inner creativity!
Chinese Children's Dance:
Chinese dance introduces young children aged 3-4 to the beauty and grace of Chinese traditional dance. Through engaging activities and playful learning, children will explore the rich culture and movement traditions of China in a fun and interactive environment. The club aims to foster creativity, coordination, and an appreciation for cultural diversity through dance.
LEGO (Wednesdays or Thursdays): Playing with LEGOs helps kids develop their hand muscles as well as improving hand/eye coordination. Building things with LEGOs helps to stimulate creativity and opens your child’s imagination while improving focus.
Ballet with Dani Robb
Ballet (Mondays or Wednesdays): Ballet is a unique synthesis of artistry and technique, of self expression and discipline. It's challenging, great fun, and is the basis for all dances. This class stresses age-appropriate skill development, creative expression, and music appreciation.

Flamenco (Mondays or Thursdays):
Join us for a vibrant journey into the world of flamenco! In this course, children will explore the rich culture and traditions of flamenco through rhythm, movement, and storytelling.
Yoga with Ivy Vaisman
Yoga: Where we let the children have fun and learn practical skills, too! During our kids yoga classes, they will learn a quick history of yoga, practice fun yoga poses and flows, and play fun yoga games and activities. Class will also include breath work and mindfulness activities. Our kids yoga classes are designed to help strengthen, stretch, and relax the mind after a long day. Classes are fast-paced to help keep children on task. Our kids will discover the many wonderful benefits to yoga, including improvements in flexibility, strength, balance, immunity, energy and focus.
Hula Hooping and Circus Stars: Each week, the preschoolers will learn how to waist hoop and play fun hula hoop inspired games. Kiddos will also dive into circus arts, like beginner juggling, to help work on their hand eye coordination and stilt walking on cups, to improve balance. You'll be so impressed, you'll think they joined the circus!
Soccer: Learn the basic skills of soccer in a fun and energetic environment!
Art Club (Mondays or Wednesdays): Do you love to make art? Then join the Art Club where you can spend time being an artist every week. Square State Skate provides skateboard education and guidance for children of all ages, allowing your youngsters’ skills, passion and personality to grow in a safe, fun environment. We are fully committed to the entire skateboard community and are open to ALL children, regardless of age, race, gender or skill level. We teach skills necessary for skateboarding – balance, confidence, determination, and problem solving skills – and then help transfer those skills off the board as well as on.

Join Mad About Hula Hoops each week for exciting hula hoop inspired games and waist hooping mastery. Students will learn hula hoop tricks and engage in partner moves. Kids will also learn a simple and fun routine that they will showcase on the final day of class. In our classes, we believe fitness should be fun and that little ones should play everyday!

Crafts Club - Cardboard Games: The Craft club activities are a fun way to give the students a sense of achievement and allow them to be proud of their work. They are going to develop the ability to work with different materials and tools every week, in a safe environment to discover that it’s okay to make mistakes and that getting things ‘wrong’ can lead you down a whole amazing path. A German Adventure:
Hallo zusammen! Join IS Denver's first German Club "A German Adventure." We will learn basic words and phrases, explore some of the culture through hands-on activities, and have fun with language games.

Computer Keyboard Skills: In this club we will learn how to touch-type and improve existing typing skills. We will work on how to touch-type the alphabetic, numeric, and symbol keys; create, save, and edit word processing documents; and successfully take notes when researching or creating a project. With these skills, your child will become faster and more confident at the keyboard.
Karate (G3-G8):
In karate we have to wear a uniform, a karate gi in Japanese. It has an extra cost of 35$ to pay it to the teacher when the classes start. Shotokan Karate is a weaponless martial art that is founded on the basic techniques of punching, striking, kicking and blocking, yet there is a deeper aspect to serious Karate training which deals with character development. Shotokan Karate is a way for an individual to realize greater potential and expand the limits of that individual's physical and mental capabilities. Shotokan Karate remains firmly rooted in a strong martial arts tradition, emphasizing lifetime training for a healthy mind and body, rather than strictly as a sport.
Robotics and Coding: Students will learn to code and program while playing interactive games and completing challenges with robots. Coding fosters creative thinking, analytical skills, builds confidence, and establishes grit while having fun interacting and exploring with peers and technology.
Percussion Ensemble(G3-G8): Students will have the opportunity to make music with their peers using a wide variety of percussion instruments. Anyone can play a percussion instrument just by striking it, which allows students to start making music right away. These instruments include but are not limited to, Boomwhackers, Xylophone, Snare Drum, Drum Set and more! All experience levels are welcome!

The After-School Crafts and Science Club at Maker-Space offers students in grades 3 to 5 a creative space to explore science through hands-on crafts! Students will design projects, experiment with materials, and discover how art and science come together. They'll learn new skills, have fun, and experience science in an artistic way at Maker-Space!
Yoga, Mindfulness and Art: Welcome to Yoga and Art! Through games, books, breathing techniques, and fun poses, your children will learn how to focus, calm, and center themselves. They will make art that is inspired by their yoga and mindfulness practice. Come get your zen on!

Modern Band:
Modern Band is all about playing the music you love, using instruments like guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, trombone, trumpet/cornet, saxophone, ukulele and more. It focuses on popular styles like rock, pop, funk, and hip-hop, giving you a chance to learn and perform songs you know, while also exploring improvisation and creativity. This ensemble is for middle school students who have prior musical experience, looking for a chance to improve their skills all while having fun! The school has a select amount of instruments students may borrow, but we do encourage parents to consider renting or purchasing an instrument for their student. Please reach out to Ms. Natalie for guidance on whether to rent, purchase or borrow.

Before-Care, After-Care, Study Hall and Third Language
Before- and After-Care sessions are billed at $135 per session of the weekday chosen for that entire trimester (i.e., if you register your child for after-care session I on Mondays only, you will pay $135 total for that trimester; if you do it on both Mondays and Wednesdays, you will pay $270 total for the first trimester. If you do before-care and after-care I every weekday, you will pay $1,350 per trimester.)
In Grades 3, 4 and 5, learners can expand their language study in an after-school program, with the option to continue that language of instruction in the Middle Years Programme (Grades 6, 7, and 8).
