ISD is a very unique place for kids in Denver because families come from around the world, giving kids invaluable exposure to different cultures. The environment instills an open-mindedness in kids from a very young age - it comes naturally rather than being taught. - ISD Parent

Tuition and Financial Assistance

The International School of Denver strives to maintain tuition rates that make the type of unique educational experience that we offer financially accessible to as many families as possible.

  • Preschool through Elementary (Kinder 1 – Grade 5): $15,907
  • Preschool Part-time (Kinder 1 only, Monday through Friday, 8:30-11:30 a.m.): $10,400
  • Middle Years Programme (Grades 6 – 8): $17,327

Tuition can be prepaid for the school year or in monthly installments. Tuition insurance is required for all monthly installment payment plans.

(Rates reflect the 2018-19 school year and are subject to change.)

Annual Activity Fee

The annual activity fee covers the costs of classroom events, local field trips, books, school supplies, a school yearbook and ISD wear (branded polo shirts and hats).

Preschool through Elementary (Kinder 1 – Grade 5): $525
Middle Years Programme (Grades 6 – 8): $900

(Rates reflect the 2018-19 school year and are subject to change.)

Work Bond Deposit

ISD asks that families complete at least 20 hours of volunteer service during each school year. Opportunities are endless — you can become a room parents, take on a leadership position in the Parent/Teacher Organization, join committees, volunteer to chaperone field trips, and more. In order to keep families accountable for their service hours we secure a “work bond” deposit.

Kinder 1 through Grade 8, per family: $400

Financial Assistance

Each year, ISDenver designates approximately 5% of our annual operating budget to financial assistance for qualifying families whose children attend ISDenver full-time. ISDenver financial assistance policies are written to meet the financial need of those families who participate, support socio-economic diversity, and to support the mission of the school. Financial Assistance applies only toward tuition costs and is not applied to the activity fee, work bond deposit, tuition insurance or any extra services (lunch, bus, extended daycare, etc.)
