ISDenver Rainbow Dragons Celebrate Pride!
A team of 45 ISDenver faculty, staff, parents, and students celebrated Denver Pride at the 5K on Saturday, June 22. ISDenver is a proud sponsor of the 5K which raises essential funds for The Center on Colfax's programs & services for Colorado's LGBTQ community.
This is my third year attending and it has become a yearly holiday for our family. Pride 5K Day! As a two-mom family, having a larger community that supports Pride feels essential to us. We feel lucky to give and get support from other queer families and allies at ISDenver. It is especially sweet to participate in the walk/run with a group comprised of staff, teachers, kids, and parents. We will be out again next year for all who want to join us!

Whether a part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, this event brings people together to support each other in the best way possible! Very thankful we got the opportunity to represent ISDenver!
