Two international professional organizations converge at ISDenver in September
The Association of Independent Schools Admissions Professionals (AISAP) and the Admissions Group of French American Schools (AGFAS) were hosted by the International School of Denver (ISDenver) September 19 and 20.
AISAP is an international organization that works to support, elevate, educate, and empower independent school admissions professionals. AGFAS is a professional organization for Admissions and Marketing professionals from AEFE accredited schools across America and Canada.
Associate Director of Admissions at ISDenver, Katrina Austin, and AISAP Executive Director and CEO, Janice Crampton collaborated closely over the last year on leadership professional development. Crampton is a highly sought-after presenter and speaker. Austin shared,
Janice Crampton is also one of the most respected women in the Independent School Admissions industry. It was a real honor to host the AISAP board last week on Thursday and Friday. Not only was Janice here, but we had other Heads of Schools, Senior Directors, and industry leaders from across the United States on campus. It was a great opportunity to showcase ISDenver.
During the AISAP Board Meeting, Campton presented at the AGFAS two-day professional development conference. This group gathers with the objective to learn, grow, share ideas, and support each other in the unique challenges our type of schools face.
It was a treat to host both AISAP and AGFAS simultaneously and to see the beauty in the two groups converging. Perhaps most special for me is that both groups were able to be a part of our International Day of Peace festivities. This is a time-honored tradition on campus.

Austin will be presenting on the New Parent Experience at the AISAP International Conference next month in Rome, Italy.
