J-1 Visa/Relocation Information

  • ISDenver is proud to be a sponsor of J-1 Visas (Cultural Exchange Visitor Visas) under the Teacher category.
  • As a sponsor, we are able to recruit teachers from abroad to teach at our school on a 3-year J-1 Visa, with the possibility of extending the visa by 2 years for a total of 5 years maximum. We cannot sponsor teachers to teach/work at other schools. 
  • We encourage all English, French, Spanish, and/or Chinese-speaking teachers to apply for our open positions via our job board in order to be considered for J-1 visa sponsorship.
  • Learn more about the requirements of being a J-1 teacher (work experience, degree, etc.).

In addition to your cover letter and resume/CV, please having the following handy for the application process:

  • For teaching and teaching assistant positions in target languages, resumes should be uploaded in both native language and English
  • Copy of your appropriate license(s) or certifications (teaching, nurse, CDL, ECE Group Leader Qualification, etc.) from state or country.
  • Copy of your higher education transcripts (with certified English translation as necessary, WES certification for non-United States degrees)
